The meetings are being held at the Dalmahoy Hotel and Country Club near Edinburgh. Due to the impact of Covid this will be the first face to face meeting of the IECEx System since 2019 and we are expecting a healthy attendance. The opportunity is to become a sponsor and promote your organisation to those attending the meetings and others with an interest in the meetings. The meetings will be held from 18 to 22 September 2023 with an industry symposium planned for on Wednesday 20 September 2023. The symposium provides an excellent opportunity to showcase and exhibit products and services.

What is the IECEx?
IECEx is one of four conformity assessment systems within the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC). The primary objective of the IEC is to produce standards for the electrotechnical community around the world, in addition the IEC also operates conformity assessment systems where common methodologies for verification of products, services and competence to IEC standards by certification bodies (ExCB) and test laboratories (ExTL) approved by IECEx are agreed, by consensus, by representatives of all the countries participating within each system. The IECEx System relates to products, services and competence of persons for use within or associated with hazardous areas complying with IEC TC31 standards and ISO TC31M standards.
