BEAMA is initiating a work program for its members to influence and understand the strategic, policy, technical and market requirements for V2G and V2H charging. We support the emergence of smart systems to electrify road transport and provide flexibility to the grid. BEAMA’s access to Government, representation on DNO/DSO project and advisory boards (Open Networks Advisory Group, UKPN Smart Charging Project, SSEN Managed Charging Steering Group) and strong collaborative links with SMMT, LowCVP, Innovate UK, Energy Systems Catapult and many others give us influence at the highest levels.
EV infrastructure will need to interact and interoperate with other electrical systems such as smart energy management and energy storage. BEAMA’s broad membership will give your business access to the full supply chain in the electrical sector in a non-competitive, collaborative environment.
