BEAMA Welcome Marc Gaunt of Eaton Electric as Chair of the Industrial and Single Phase Product Group

07 May 2024

BEAMA are pleased to announce our Chair for the Industrial and Single Phase Product Group within our Building Electrical Systems sector. Today, we welcome Marc Gaunt as the new Chairperson. Marc hopes to be able to work closely with BEAMA members, the wider construction industry and government to support what is arguably the period of the largest change in the electrical sector since electrification of society.

Marc is the Commercial Buildings Segment Manager for Eaton Electric UK and Ireland, having worked in the construction industry for over 30 years, for global businesses and small to medium enterprise. He originally trained as an electrical engineer in building services, but subsequently moved into commercial roles within manufacturing environments whilst completing a business degree. With this impressive background and a commitment to the group’s shared core values, Marc is well-positioned to guide us forward with vision and purpose.

As we look ahead, the BEAMA ISPPG Group will continue on its mission of promoting cutting-edge technologies, working with members to tackle key concerns, and advocating for sustainable practices across our sector. Marc is passionate on all of these fronts, working to forward talent development to bridge the skills gap, and about driving decarbonisation; working with stakeholders across industry and government to recognise the challenges, opportunities and how to develop solutions which are technically, environmentally and financially sustainable.

“ Marc has shown a great commitment to our product sector over so many years, building a wealth of knowledge and experience. He will be a great support for the ISPPG group in leading this team forward with their desire to improve product safety, performance, efficiency, and sustainability. I look forward to working closer with Marc on the development of the group.”
